Welcome Home!

Amai Suppai is a PDX based startup Maid Cafe hoping to open up a permanent location in Portland Oregon! Our theme is fruit, and the words “Amai” and Suppai” mean “Sweet” and “Sour” in Japanese. We aim to take inspiration from traditional Akihabara maid cafes, mix in some of our own sweet and sour playful fun, and bring a unique experience that will bring cuteness and Otaku culture to our home city!

 

Our three head maids have long since been a part of the cosplay, fashion, and idol communities, and have always dreamed of creating a place where cuteness is power, and communities could meet and enjoy each other any time even outside of conventions! The commonly used phrase "Welcome Home" when greeting guests at maid cafes encapsulates the goal of a maid cafe, to be a third space, and an adorable home away from home.
